Course Description

This course uses a case-based approach to give students a practical look into the professional lives of lawyers and legal thinking. By studying and debating a series of real legal cases, students will sharpen their ability to think like lawyers who research, write and speak persuasively. The course will focus on problems that lawyers encounter in daily practice and on the rules of professional case law. This is an interdisciplinary course, integrating an introduction to law with English Language Arts through a focus on discussion, reading, and analytical writing.
