Coursello’s approach to live class learning supported by asynchronous independent learning enables multiple classroom models, including:
(1) On-campus: Students complete all components in school. A proctor teacher monitors students in a classroom setting for live classes.
(2) Off-campus: Students take the whole course off-campus (including mornings and evenings, as needed). A proctor teacher (resident teacher or paraprofessional) oversees the course virtually.
(3) Hybrid: Students complete some components off-campus and some in school. A proctor teacher monitors students in a study hall/computer lab setting for the live meetings.
