Ruth holds bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics and a Masters degree in Physics Education.  Her first job out of college was as an instructor for the U.S. Navy where she found her love of teaching.  Since then she has worked as an educator in the process control industry, with an environmental non-profit organization and in the high school setting.  Ruth lives with her husband, three children, dogs, turtles and cat in southeastern PA.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, crocheting and scrapbooking.
