Kayla holds a Masters in Mathematics Education, as well as Undergraduate degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). She spent 2 years lecturing in the Department of Mathematics at UCA before deciding that she wanted to make ripples in the K-12 world. Kayla taught AP Statistics and PreCalculus at a high school in Central Arkansas for the last 2 years while simultaneously pursuing a PhD in Leadership for Equity and Inclusion with a K-12 focus. If you ever need to find Kayla, she will either be in the gym, spending time with her boyfriend of 2 years, or relaxing with her cows and her dog.
