Jake graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in mechanical engineering and then became an Algebra 2 teacher in Jacksonville, Florida through Teach for America. He found his life's calling in the classroom and is dedicated to making his students feel respected, loved, and valued while receiving a high-quality mathematics education. Jake enjoys spending time with his wife of seven years, playing board and video games, going disc golfing, and getting lost in a great book.
