Alecia was born on the Island of Jamaica. She enjoys cooking, nature, traveling and spending time with family. and friends. This is her 16th year as a Social Studies Educator. She has spent most of her teaching career in Washington DC. Her favorite subjects to teacher are U.S Government, World History and Psychology.  Alecia has a MA in history from Howard University.
